All who read Fire Talk are welcome to be a part of the action by telling about their exploits and adventures while being members of the Fire Service. Many of you have contacted me. Some of my old buddies have given me some pretty good stories. Some have helped correct my errors in narration. It has been fun for me and I hope it is fun for you. Letting people know what we do and how we do it is important. With knowledge comes strength. We need as many allies as we can get in these times of budget cutbacks and staff reductions. It is important to help each other.

Recently Dennis Walus sent me a suggestion to look at a video put out by our brother Firefighters from New York. It strikes to the core about what a Firefighter should always have on his mind. I hope all of you take the time to review this great video. A special thank you for the men and women of the NYFD for this important message. A must see for all who are a part of our Fire Department family.
